Wayne State University has the privilege of being located in Detroit's Midtown area. All parking spaces on Detroit's streets are managed by the Detroit Municipal Parking Department. Wayne State University Parking and Transportation Services does not issue tickets for expired meters on the city's streets or regulate the rules for these meters (i.e. the meters pictured).

Concerns/complaints can be addressed to the City of Detroit Municipal Parking Department, open Mon-Fri, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

  • For broken meter/meter complaint, call 313-925-7860.
  • For personnel complaints and other, call 313-963-9630.
