We apologize for the late notice, however after months of negotiating, Wayne State Parking & Transportation Services (PTS) was given notice Friday afternoon that we will no longer be operating Parking Structure #3 (PS#3), aka Rackham Garage, effective Monday, October 28, 2019. The owners of the building/structure have decided to go in a different direction. At this time we are not certain who will be managing the building and structure or whether they will be open to WSU personnel or the general public. 

Please know WSU PTS is committed to accommodating all the current WSU parkers and lessees who utilize the structure. With the last day of operation being Friday, October 25, we are requesting everyone whose primary parking assignment is at PS#3 to contact the OneCard/Parking Service Center as soon as possible via email at onecard@wayne.edu in order to change your current parking assignment. 

Relocation of non-premium parking space is available for everyone currently assigned to Structure #3. Parking Structure #8, located at 91 West Forest Avenue or Parking Structure #1, located at 450 West Palmer are the closest. There is a limited amount of premium parking available in Parking Structure #6 located at 61 Putnam which will be sold on a first come first served basis. Individuals who move to PS#6 will have to pay the price difference and submit a change in payroll deduction adjustment form by clicking on the following link: Payroll Deduction Adjustment Request Form. Handicap spaces are available at each of our facilities and should accommodate anyone who needs it based on current usage. 

Individuals who park daily, and pay using OneCard debit or credit card, can use any of WSU's parking facilities with available daily space. Parking Structure #1 and PS#8, as mentioned above, are the closest facilities to PS#3 that typically have daily space available. 

As a reminder, WSU does offer three free shuttle routes with real time GPS tracking; Main campus, Medical campus and Mike Ilitch School of Business express routes. For more information on the shuttles click here: Shuttles at Wayne
