In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Wayne State University will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 26 & 27, 2015. During this time and throughout the weekend parking services will be limited and the WSU shuttle will not operate the main and medical campus routes or the downtown weekend shuttles. The St. Regis shuttle will continue to operate 24/7. Holiday parking hours are as follows:

Thursday, November 26, Thanksgiving Day/Thanksgiving Day Parade Parking:

The following parking structures and lots will be open to the general public from 6am – 1pm, at a cost of $7.00 per vehicle unless otherwise noted:

Parking Structure 1 – 450 West Palmer
Parking Structure 2 – 5150 Lodge Service Drive (Note: Structure 2 is open 24/7)
Parking Structure 3 – 45 E. Warren
Parking Structure 6 - 61 Putnam (Will have pre-paid parade passes and general public parking available at $8.00)  

Parking Structure 7 – 3717 John R. ($10.00 per vehicle)
Parking Structure 8 – 91 West Forest (Note: Structure 8 is open 24/7)
Lot 57 – 237 E. Hancock (as needed)
Lot 59a – S/E corner John R. and Warren (as needed)
Lot 60 – 4710 Second
Lot 70 – 4441 Cass Ave.
Lot 71 – 410 W. Canfield
Lot 72 – 4510 Cass Ave.
Lot 75 – 545 E. Canfield (Note: lot 75 will be open to accommodate individuals with active parking assignments to Parking Structure 4)

New for this year’s parade, individuals with current active parking assignments can park in their assigned locations as space allows. If the parking facility is full or closed, you can park at PS#2 at no additional charge. Please note: You must have your current RFID hangtag and OneCard for access. If you choose to park at a facility you are not assigned to, you are subject to pay the fee at said facility.

*Lot 12 will be closed and used exclusively by the parade company.

Friday, November 28:

Parking Structure 6 will be open 7am - 11pm.
Parking Structure 7 will be open 6am - 6pm.
Parking Structures 2 and 8 will remain open 24/7.
Lot 75 – 545 E. Canfield (Will be open to accommodate individuals with active parking assignments to Parking Structure 4)

All other parking structures will be closed and surface lots will operate as usual. They can be accessed during their regular posted hours via OneCard assigned parking, OneCard debit, credit card or cash where available.

Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29:

Parking Structures 2 and 8 will remain open 24/7.

Parking Structure 6 will be open Saturday 7am-11pm and closed on Sunday.

Parking Structure 7 will be open 9am-9pm.

All other parking structures will be closed and surface lots will operate as usual. They can be accessed during their regular posted hours via OneCard assigned parking, OneCard debit, credit card or cash where available.

All parking structures, lots and shuttle services will resume normal operating hours and days beginning Monday, November 30.
