Parking and Transportation Services would like to welcome all the new students, faculty and staff as well as those returning for the 2018/2019 school year.

Here are a couple quick updates regarding the campus shuttles as the school year kicks off.

New this semester, WSU’s shuttle contractor, Trinity Transportation, will be providing three shuttle routes. The Main Campus, Medical Campus and Mike Ilitch School of Business express routes.

The Main Campus route has made some adjustments and now includes stops at Parking Structure #7 and the Mike Ilitch School of Business. The bus will operate continuously in approximately 30 minute intervals, Monday-Friday from 7am to 7pm.

The Medical Campus route has not changed and will operate continuously in approximately 30 minute intervals, Monday-Friday from 7am to 9pm. The Medical campus route will cover the main and medical campus, however will not service the new Mike Ilitch Schol of Business.

The new Mike Ilitch School of Business express route will go from Parking Structure 1 (Palmer and Cass) to the Mike Ilitch School of Business. Shuttles will operate Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the last pickup from the Ilitch School at 10:45 p.m. Friday hours will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the last pick up from the Ilitch School at 5:45 p.m. Shuttles will run approximately every 20 minutes throughout the day and approximately every 10 minutes during peak hours.

Each shuttle bus will have signs indicating which route they are traveling and shuttle stop signs will be posted where possible.
