Dear WSU Students, Faculty, Staff and Campus Community,

On June 8, 2018, the Board of Governors approved parking rates for the 2018-19 academic year.

Parking fees for 2018-19 continue to reflect Parking and Transportation’s priorities of controlling rates for student and permit parkers while investing in our facilities and technology to enhance the campus parking experience. Below are a couple notable highlights:

• No increase in student semester parking permits, employee payroll deduction or employee non-premium OneCard debit rates
• Small increase in OneCard debit rates for student low cost, non-premium and premium locations, credit card and cash rates

New parking rates go into effect on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Some of the more common rates are below. For all rates including individual locations, please visit parking.wayne.edu.

Information regarding parking options, sale dates and rates for the New Mike Ilitch School of Business (MISB) is forthcoming and will be sent separately to all MISB students, faculty and staff. 

Students & Part-Time Faculty:  Parking passes go on sale Monday, July 16, 2018 and are available for purchase by visiting go.wayne.edu/myparking and following the instructions on the website.

Nine and Twelve Month Faculty/Staff:  To sign up for payroll deduction please complete the following online form: https://forms.wayne.edu/parking-new-assignment/ or visit the OneCard/Parking Service Center located in room 257 of the Welcome Center.

Note: Due to high demand for parking, we recommend purchasing your parking pass early to obtain your preferred parking facility/lot.

In addition, starting in August 2018, Lot 60 will be closed to make way for the new Hilberry Gateway project. As this will affect parking demand in the area, lot 70 (4441 Cass), lot 71 (410 W. Canfield) and lot 72 (4510 Cass), located in the south end of campus, will become non-premium parking lots. The reduced rate parking will now be at lot 12 (6000 Woodward) and lot 14 (6241 Cass), located in the north end of campus.
