Dear WSU Students, Faculty, Staff and Campus Community,

On June 26, 2015, the Board of Governors approved the proposed parking rates for the 2015-16 academic year consistent with Parking & Transportation Services’ Five-Year Business Plan. Parking & Transportation Services is an auxiliary unit of the university and covers all expenses from operating revenues. These adjusted rates will allow us to continue to maintain and repair our facilities, implement new technologies, enhance video surveillance and provide audio/video monitoring. Parking fees for 2015-16 continue to reflect our priorities of controlling rates for student and permit parkers, encouraging frequent parkers to purchase semester permits, and continuing low-cost parking options for students, faculty and staff.

In addition, effective immediately with the opening of the IBio Building, Lots 11 (445 York) and 15 (5986 Cass)  are now non-premium parking locations for faculty, staff and visitors. Student parking at either of these lots will continue to be available at the reduced parking fee as space allows.   

New Parking rates will go into effect Saturday, August 1, 2015. The most common rates are listed in the chart below. For all rates including individual locations, please visit the Parking website at www.parking.wayne.edu. Payroll deduction changes for enrolled faculty/staff will take place on the August 12,  2015 pay.
