Parking updates
We appreciate your patience with the limited availability of parking facilities on the south end of campus. Due to construction, Lot #63 (Forest and Woodward avenues) and more than half of Lot #72 (University Towers) are closed. In addition, Lot #60 (Second Street and Forest Avenue) and Lot #61 (Cass and Forest avenues) were closed throughout the demolition of the Forest Apartments.
Recent improvements include the merger of Lot #60 and Lot #61. Lot #60 has reopened and now accommodates more than 250 vehicles. This lot is open for general parking via OneCard debit access and assigned residential parking. A visitor cash machine will be installed in the future. Please note: the Second Street entrance is now closed. All vehicles must now enter from the alley off Cass Avenue, just north of Forest Avenue, and exit on Second Street.
In addition to the reopening and expansion of Lot #60, our newest structure, Lot #8 (located on the south side of Forest Avenue just east of Cass Avenue), is currently under construction and will open this summer. This structure will add 930 parking spaces on campus and will be a state-of-the-art facility.
