Spring/Summer Semester 2015 Parking Permit Sales
Starting Tuesday, March 17, 2015 student patrons, and staff who do not receive payroll deductions, can purchase their Spring/Summer 2015 (May 11 - August 16, 2015) semester parking permit online at: https://wayne.t2hosted.com/cmn/index.aspx.
Please remember due to limited availability we encourage everyone to purchase their assignments on-line early to get the structure of your choice. Fees for the winter semester have not changed. The amounts are as follows:
Student non-premium facilities $280.00 (Parking Structures 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8)
Student premium facility $360.00 (Parking Structure 6)
Staff/Faculty non-premium facilities $330.00 http://parking.wayne.edu/info/parking-rate-chart.pdf Staff/Faculty premium facilities $412.00 http://parking.wayne.edu/maps/premium-parking.php (Note: If you have access to either Lots 51, 52 or 54, please choose a structure to renew your parking and call the OneCard and Parking Service Center at (313) 576-PARK (7275) to have your access added; access has to be verified before it is added).
For new parking patrons who are purchasing their first permit, there is a one-time non-refundable/non-transferable $25.00 user fee for all new RFID hang tags that will automatically be added to your parking purchase. For example, if you’re requesting student non-premium parking at $280.00, the final cost will be $305.00. The RFID hang tag will be mailed to the shipping address you provide. If you have not received your RFID within 14-business days (or so), contact the office. If purchased within the semester, use your OneCard to swipe yourself in "Assigned" reader), until you receive it. Your RFID hang tag will be linked to all your current and future parking assignments here at WSU. For this reason please do not discard or damage the tag even if you’re taking a semester off from utilizing assigned parking. NOTE: If you are renewing your parking assignment please continue to use your current RFID tag. Nothing will be mailed to you. If you do no complete your online session, please make sure you abandon your transaction, remove the incomplete permit from your cart and log out of the system properly, by clicking on the "Log Out" link at the top right corner of the page.
Parking permits will be available for walk-in cash sales only in the OneCard/Parking Service Center at Suite 257, Welcome Center beginning on March 17, 2015. All credit card, debit card and check sales must be completed online; the OneCard and Parking Service Center no longer processes credit card or check transactions in the office, except for those patrons who are unable to pay online (IE. SDS [Student Disability Services] students).
Parking for the winter semester will begin on Monday, May 11, 2015. Parking is sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. REMEMBER: Take advantage of our online system now to guarantee the structure of your choice!
If you are experiencing any problems online, please try the following before calling the office:
- If you receive a message of "Ineligible to purchase permits", try updating your browser to the newest version or using Internet Explorer.
- If you receive a message of "...exceeding your permits...", make sure your basket is clear and that you chose the "Spring/Summer 2015" Parking permits.
***Attention Chrome and Safari users: Our CashNet payment site experiences intermittent issues when customers who are purchasing permits, are using either of these browsers . To reduce errors and wait time we recommend using either Internet Explorer or Firefox when purchasing/renewing your parking pass. ***Please also note that if you are experiencing issues purchasing a permit online, please come to the OneCard/Parking Service Center to purchase your permit. We will accept all forms of payment in the office for those who are unable to purchase their permit online.
